I work solely from the subconscious drawing on emotional experiences, visual memory and art education.

Leyla is a UK artist who engages colour in all her work. She creates pure abstractions, abstract seascapes and impressionistic paintings.  Leyla has nurtured her independence and artistic freedom and paints spontaneously from within: expressing a fragment of feeling, a memory or an impression. She likes to capture a brief moment rather than a complete detailed narrative and in doing so, allows the viewer to be proactive.  Her work can be viewed in a number of reputable galleries in UK, private collections in USA, Spain, UK, Norway and Switzerland.
